Sandra is a Master of Public Policy candidate at Hertie School of Governance. She holds a B.A. in European Studies at Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany, where she also developed her interest in the third sector. Sandra has professional experience in the non-profit sector, where she worked for foundations, initiatives and NGOs. She further gained academic experience in teaching and researching at university. Whereas her BA focus has been on post-soviet civil society and civic actors in promoting democracy, she will focus her Master thesis on German foundations, looking into foundation dynamics and the role of innovation. At SEFORIS, she is responsible for data collection in Germany.
