Luca Mongelli

Luca Mongelli is a Post-Doc Research Fellow at LUISS Guido Carli (Rome). During his career he has been visiting at the Royal School of Technology in Stockholm, and at the Stern Business School of New York University. In LUISS he has been part of the LUISS Task-Force for the EQUIS accreditation, working to the launch of the ERSHub (Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability). He is currently involved in the coordination of the ERSHub, and in the program "Social Start-up Impact Contest". His two main research streams are technological innovation, where he studies firms' reactions to discontinuous technological shift; and business models of social enterprises, where he deals with hybrid organizations and institutional logics, and with the identification of market-driven activities which allow the empowerment of marginalized individuals.

Tomislav Rimac

Tomislav works as an Assistant Professor of Ethics, Sustainability and Responsibility at the Department of Business and Management at the LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. His research focuses on entrepreneurship directed at social change and organizational responses to institutional complexity. Between 2009 and 2013, Tomislav was a lead researcher in Spain for EC financed FP7 SELUSI project on social entrepreneurship and innovation. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Social Innovation Ambassador Network (SIAN) for the BENISI FP7 project on scaling social innovation. Prior to entering academia, Tomislav held managerial positions in Canadian financial industry and IT and engineering consulting sectors. He co-founded "All Through The House," a social purpose initiative of the "St. Christopher House" in Toronto and "Rotman Nexus" consulting, an M.B.A. student-run consulting agency specializing in not-for-profit and social enterprise consulting at the University of Toronto. He earned his Ph.D. in Management from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra, his M.B.A. from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and his B.A.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Zagreb.
